1) Giancarlo, italienischer Regisseur und Theaterleiter, * Villorba (bei Venedig) 28. 12. 1943, Sohn von 2); inszenierte besonders in Deutschland (u. a. in München und Stuttgart), 1980-83 Intendant des Staatstheaters Kassel, seit 1992 der Oper in Bonn; war auch als Gastregisseur u. a. in Berlin, Karlsruhe, bei den Bregenzer Festspielen, in Nizza und an der Metropolitan Opera in New York tätig.
 
 2) Mario, italienischer Sänger (Tenor), * Florenz 27. 7. 1915, ✝ Mestre 16. 10. 1982, Vater von 1); debütierte 1939 in Pesaro; seit seinem Auftreten an der Mailänder Scala (1945) international bekannt; 1950 sang er erstmals an der Metropolitan Opera in New York. Berühmt war er als Interpret dramatischer Tenorpartien des italienischen Repertoires (u. a. Otello von G. Verdi).
